Computer Forensic Services, Inc., provides digital forensic investigation, computer forensic expert witness, and eDiscovery services to the legal community. Our clients comprise law firms, in-house corporate legal departments, insurance companies, municipalities, government agencies and channel partners. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with operations in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. The Computer Forensics team of investigators, analysts, project managers, consultants and expert witnesses serve clients across the country. Since 2002, Mr. Sloves and his team, have advised hundreds of businesses and civil/criminal litigation professionals on Computer Forensics, eDiscovery and other technological issues relevant to the practice.
Many of his matters have included multiple parties and high-profile commercial litigation working for the Plaintiff, Prosecution and Defense in both civil and criminal matters including Military court in matters such as National Security, Capital Murder, Trade Secret Theft, Terrorism, Distracted Driving, Wrongful Death, Healthcare and General Commercial Litigation.
Mr. Sloves has completed over a thousand electronic evidence examinations globally and has forensically imaged thousands of computers, USB devices, cellular & smartphones and other devices.
Our office is currently located in Dallas, Texas yet we offer Remote Data Collections of computers, emails and mobile evidence. Upon client request, we have also traveled to Asia, Europe, Central America and across the US when necessary.

Lance Sloves

Mr. Sloves is a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) and is a licensed Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) and Certified Cellebrite Cell Phone Examiner. He has also taken certification courses for Cellular Mapping & Analysis and Call Detail Records.
Lance is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Texas and has passed and maintained a Top Secret/SSBI US Government Clearance. He has 30 years of experience conducting investigations into both civil and criminal matters, and 27 years of experience investigating and reviewing digital evidence, including computers, mobile devices, Call Detail Records (CDRs), DVR, Cloud, and location-based data, such as GPS and cell towers.
Known cases include Amber Guyger (Dallas Police Shooting), Christopher Duntsch (Dr. Death), Barrett Brown (2012–13 Stratfor email leak), Khalid Aldawsari (Saudi student sentenced to life in prison for attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction), Collin Street Bakery (accounting fraud), and others.
Mr. Sloves, to date, qualifies as a computer forensic expert witness in the State of Texas in both civil and criminal matters, as well as Federal Court.

Stephen Watson is a Computer Forensic and Cell Phone Examiner and consultant for Computer Forensic Services Inc.
Mr. Watson has received several Degrees, to include Master's in Financial Engineering, HAAS School of Business, UC Berkeley, Berkeley, California, a PhD in Applied Mathematics, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK, an MSc in Electrical Engineering, University College London, London, UK, and a BSc in Physics, University of Durham, Durham, UK
He is a Private Investigator under Texas Private Security Registration for CFSI and has a certificate in Cell Phone Forensics and the CompTIA A+ from Collin College.
